Ride together

This is about riding together and giving the trainee instructors the opportunity to be part of a professional guided ride.  Helping them learn the ropes.
Starting at Maraetai Forest Gate, Rewa Rd, Maraetai
  • parking available on the street
  • a small part of you fee will be given back to the Pohutukawa Coast Bike Club
  • Suitable for riders comfortable on grade 2 & 3 trail network
  • Not suitable for those of you who have not ridden on grade 3 trails before

This is a guided ride taking you on some of Cycle Coach Janet Starks favourite grade 2 & 3 trails on the trail network with the trainee instructors.

The route will include:

  • Uphill climbs on gravel roads
  • Uphill Trails grade 2 & 3
  • Downhill Trails grade 2 & 3
  • Expect to huff and puff
  • Awesome views
  • Fabulous Single track

The trail network is fairly slippery due to all the rain we have had.  New dates will be available hopefully in the new future.
